Scar & Tissue Therapy with LymphaTouch & Winback

Scars — whether from surgery, childbirth or injury — can sometimes cause pain, tightness or restricted movement in the tissues around them. These issues can contribute to discomfort in the pelvis, abdomen, lower back or hips.

LymphaTouch Scar Therapy is a gentle, precise treatment that helps:
✔ Soften scar tissue
✔ Improve circulation
✔ Release tightness and adhesions
✔ Support overall tissue health

This non-invasive therapy complements your pelvic health plan and helps your body move more freely and comfortably. It’s ideal after C-sections, abdominal surgery, hysterectomy or other pelvic operations.

This treatment may be used for new or old scars, and not just c-section scars.

Abdominal Fascia Support Post Pregnancy

During pregnancy, your body undergoes incredible changes to support your     growing baby. As your bump expands, the fascia- the thin connective tissue that         surrounds and supports your muscles,   organs, and the skin - naturally stretches and adapts.

However, this rapid and continuous stretching can sometimes cause the fascia to become tight, restricted or                dehydrated, leading to:

A feeling of abdominal tension or pulling

Discomfort or aching through the tummy or lower back

Changes in the digestion such as bloating or sluggish bowel movements

Difficulty fully relaxing or  reconnecting with the abdominal muscles after birth

When the fascia loses its natural glide, movement and circulation through the   abdominal wall can be reduced. This can affect how comfortably your muscles and organs work together, and how easily your body recovers after pregnancy and surgery.

How Gentle Abdominal Massage Can Help

Warming the tissues with Winback and using Lymphatouch therapy, gentle      negative pressure and rhythmic massage movements are applied across the          abdomen. This technique helps to:

Restore fascial mobility and glide

Improve lymphatic flow and reduce fluid retention

Ease tension and discomfort in the abdominal wall

Support healthy digestion and recovery

Because the treatment is so gentle its  perfect as part of your postnatal recovery self care journey.

Treatments I can offer in  pregnancy

Carpal tunnel discomfort and wrist        stiffness are common, especially during pregnancy, repetitive strain, or hormonal changes. These symptoms can make daily activities-from holding your baby to    working- difficult and frustrating

Using gentle negative pressure therapy and manual techniques, we work around the wrist and forearm (avoiding direct pressure on the medial nerve) to ease tightness, reduce swelling, and improve circulation. Each session uses carefully controlled pressure to create more space within the carpal tunnel region, helping to restore comfort and mobility.

Leg swelling (oedema) can occur after  surgery, during pregnancy, or prolonged periods of standing or activity. Using a gentle, evidence-based approach, this treatment helps to stimulate lymphatic flow and reduce fluid build-up

Treatment begins by working above the area of the swelling to open the lymphatic pathways, followed by gentle suction and release movements along the legs to support drainage and circulation. This approach helps to relieve heaviness, tenderness and visible swelling, promoting comfort and recovery
